A simple bridge between your stats and your assistant.

Model Context Protocol (MCP) is a way for AI assistants to connect to tools and data. The LiteStats MCP server lets your assistant retrieve aggregate website analytics when you ask for them.

You choose which verified websites it can read. Your assistant can then compare periods, explore top pages and traffic sources, and help you turn the results into a useful report.

Your dashboard is still there whenever you want it. MCP brings those insights into another part of your workflow.

Start with a question.

Try these prompts after connecting. Replace example.com with an approved website. Your assistant retrieves the stats and helps you interpret them.

Your weekly traffic check

Starter & Pro
“Use LiteStats to summarise the last 7 complete days for example.com and compare them with the previous week.”

Compare pageviews, sessions, bounce rate and average session duration over equal periods.

Find your busiest pages

Starter & Pro
“Which pages on example.com had the most pageviews in the last 30 days? Show the top 10.”

Explore your pages, traffic sources, countries, browsers and devices without leaving your assistant.

See what visitors do

Starter & Pro
“List the top custom events on example.com for the last 7 complete days, including event counts and sessions.”

Review the clicks, forms and custom events you already track in LiteStats.

Review a campaign

Pro
“Compare traffic by UTM campaign on example.com for this month so far. Show the dates you used.”

Bring campaign breakdowns into the same conversation as your marketing plans.

Check a conversion funnel

Pro
“For example.com, show the page-path funnel from /pricing to /signup over the last 7 complete days.”

See how sessions move through ordered page paths and where they drop off.

Put a report together

Starter & Pro
“Use LiteStats to build a weekly traffic report for my approved websites. Include the dates and separate observations from possible explanations.”

Ask your assistant to turn the retrieved stats into a report you can review and share.

AI-generated explanations need your review. Traffic changes show what happened; they do not establish why it happened.

Connect once. Ask away.

  1. 1

    Choose your websites

Open Account → AI Integrations on Starter or Pro. Select the verified sites you want to share.

  2. 2

    Connect your assistant

Create a read-only token for a compatible MCP client, or approve the configured ChatGPT OAuth connection.

  3. 3

    Ask about your traffic

Start by listing your approved websites. Then ask for a summary, breakdown or report.

Follow the connection guide

You decide what gets shared.

  • Read-only aggregate analytics. No changes to settings, billing or data.
  • Only the owned, verified websites you explicitly approve.
  • Connections expire after 30 days. Disconnect at any time in LiteStats.

When you connect, retrieved analytics are shared with your chosen assistant and handled under its provider's terms and privacy policy.

AI Agent Access on paid plans.

Starter
500 queries / month
Pro
1,000 queries / month

Shared across your websites and connections. Each successful tool call counts, so one question may use several queries. The allowance resets monthly at 00:00 UTC.

Pro adds campaign breakdowns and funnels. No automatic MCP overage charges; website tracking continues if you reach this allowance.

Questions about LiteStats MCP

What is a website analytics MCP server?

MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. A website analytics MCP server gives a compatible AI assistant tools to retrieve your analytics when you ask a question. LiteStats provides read-only access to aggregate website stats for the verified sites you approve.

Which assistants can I connect to LiteStats?

LiteStats supports remote MCP over Streamable HTTP. Codex, Cursor and Claude Code can connect with a LiteStats Bearer token. Claude can connect where custom remote connectors and request headers are available. ChatGPT uses the configured OAuth connection. Availability depends on your assistant account and workspace settings; there is no public LiteStats ChatGPT listing yet.

Is MCP included in my LiteStats plan?

AI Agent Access via MCP includes 500 successful analytics tool calls on Starter and 1,000 on Pro per account per UTC calendar month. Pro also includes UTM campaign breakdowns and funnels. The Free plan does not include MCP. Your AI assistant may require its own subscription.

Does one question use one query?

Not necessarily. An assistant can call several tools to answer one question. Each successful tool call counts as one query, including listing approved websites and cached results. Sign-in, connection setup, tool discovery and failed calls do not use the monthly allowance.

Can an AI agent change my data or access every website?

The LiteStats MCP tools are read-only. They cannot change your settings, billing or analytics data. Each connection can read only the owned, verified websites you select. Aggregate analytics sent to an assistant are processed under that provider’s terms and privacy policy.

How do expiry, limits and disconnection work?

Connections last 30 days. You can revoke them in Account → AI Integrations at any time. Query usage is shared across your websites and connections, resets on the first of each month at 00:00 UTC, and has no automatic overage charges. Reaching the MCP allowance does not stop website tracking.

Your next report starts with a question.
